Mr. Eric Remick
Eric Remick is a Special Agent at the Department of Homeland Security, where he has served since February 2005. Prior to joining DHS in his current capacity, Mr. Remick served the DHS as a Civilian Trainer specializing in defensive measures and ground tactics, which included ground techniques, self-defense, close-quarter-combat and firearms skills.
From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Remick was a consultant to Finaliza, Inc., with whom he participated in a number of assignments, training U.S. Special Forces and Fortune 500 company professionals as well as teaching personal self-defense and Rape Safe courses.
During the period January 2002 to August 2002, was a close-quarter-combat instruction team leader for SAIC, who held the initial contract to train the first rounds of then-new Federal Air Marshals.
Mr. Remick is ICE Federal Instructor Training Program Certified since 2004. He has completed a variety of Federal training and coursework including lethal and non-lethal weapons usage as well as instructor-level certification. Mr. Remick is certified in Bruce Siddle’s PPCT Program.
Mr. Remick studied at both West Virginia Wesleyan College and Penn State University.
